This project presented various challenges due to a limited timeframe and working around a live site that had to accommodate large amounts of students passing through the main driveway. Further to this, the team was faced with long lead times on the disabled lift and steel structures in the lead up to Christmas.
To overcome these challenges, Better Built Group engaged their team of experienced professionals to oversee the project and took the initiative to appoint an independent safety consultant to ensure workplace safety guidelines were continually being adhered to. In 2014, Better Built Group was awarded a 1st place Master Builders Award for Private Schools.
